Loco was too concentrated on his lovely prize to notice the look on her face or the soft tone of her voice. Instead, he simply looked up at her and beamed proudly, standing up a bit to shuffle the leaf toward her.

It was still a bit green, though the edges had already begun to turn a dark brown, a vibrant strand of yellow standing between the two, as if trying to stop the war before it was begun. Little speckles of brown interceded in the green also, however, like the brown had infiltrated the enemy lines.

Shaking his head slightly and removing his ponderings of Bob back to the topic on hand, he beamed up to Inkstar, "My dear, queen mouse."
"May we introduce to you..."
"Bob."

As if anyone needed any reminder, of course, of his insanity, he turned his gaze to the leaf, "And my darling, wonderful Bob."
"This is Inkstar."
He nodded, "Yes, she is the queen mouse here and she's very friendly."
"Yes, she is."

Silence fell for a moment, one of his ears twitching to the side as if he were listening to something.

Then a smile split his features again, "Bob says he likes you."
The smile widened, "Bob is a good judge of character."
"That he is!"
